Sarah Holloway
Strategy for sustainability, purpose & impact
HELLO, I'm Sarah
The world is changing – fast. As we face environmental, social, political and technological upheaval, we need all organisations to play their role in creating the future we want.
I work with senior leaders to define their organisation’s place in a sustainable world, take action to make it happen, and inspire others to join them.
I’m a consultant, non-executive director and B Leader specialising in sustainability strategy and purpose-driven leadership.
Over the past two decades, I’ve supported some of the world’s best-known businesses – including C&A, Danone, Ella’s Kitchen, Interface, L’Oréal and Unilever – to drive transformative change.
I work with organisations of all sizes, both independently and as an associate of agencies including One Stone, Reconsidered and Motive.
Before becoming a consultant, I held sustainability roles at Unilever, Tesco and TUI, and was a director at sustainability agency Futerra and culture consultancy Kin&Co.

REPORTING

From the start, the team were unafraid to ask challenging questions, encouraging us to think in new ways about what climate leadership means. The result is a strategy that helps to future-proof the bank against climate risk, and is centred around our unique and exciting opportunity to influence the UK's net-zero transition.

We asked Sarah for support with our copy, but she delivered so much more than just an edit. She understood exactly what we were trying to do, helped us crystallise our thinking, and sharpened our arguments to make a compelling case. Our deadlines were demanding, and I appreciated Sarah's flexibility and total commitment to making sure we hit them. I hope we can work together again soon!

Sarah's clear and simple approach to B Corp certification got everyone in the team on the same page, and her vast knowledge helped crystallise our focus and priorities, taking us to the next level. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any business on its own B Corp journey.

Sarah has been advising The Plant on sustainability for over a year now, and her strategic advice has been invaluable. Sarah has helped us not only to navigate B Corp certification, but also to ask challenging questions about how we can become a better business and how we can drive change through our client work.
